Study
This eight-week study (the first in a series of three) comes straight
from Jesus’ words. By studying His words to the crowds, His disciples,
and people He encountered who were desperate and hurting, we will
better understand the heart of God. Knowing God is a precious gift
that draws us closer so that we love Him and trust Him more.
In each of the five daily interactive teachings over eight
weeks, you will be encouraged to listen to the Savior as
He speaks to you. So many voices in our world are vying
for our attention, but there is only ONE voice that matters.
Jesus invites us to come closer. He desires to satisfy our
hearts, sustain us in our trials and give us hope. HE is the
MORE we need.

You are invited to sit at my kitchen table with me each week as we study the words of Jesus. These twenty-minute weekly podcasts are intended to expand your knowledge of Jesus’ life and words as well as challenge you to deepen your walk with God. The podcast will be posted each Wednesday around 11:00 am Central Time and will be paired with the eight weeks in the study guide. Even if you are not doing the study, you will find encouragement from the Word and some nuggets of truth for the week. “Oh, the depth of the riches, both of the
wisdom and knowledge of God” (Romans 11:33).

It All
Started With...
.. a discipleship group who wanted a Bible study that would draw them to a closer walk with the Lord by tackling hard questions, uncovering deep truths, and encouraging a stronger understanding of Scripture. This group of friends asked me to consider writing a study. I told them I would pray... thinking I would be able to dodge the request. But as I
prayed, and the Lord led me to the words of Jesus. After all, Jesus was God’s Word in human flesh: “the Word became flesh and dwelt among us” (John 1:14). So, I began writing, and our group began studying. Each week, the power of Jesus’ words worked in our hearts. Our relationships with Him became deeper and stronger, and our perspectives changed. This study exists solely because of the prayers,
prompting, and persistence of this group of women. Wherever you are in your relationship with Jesus, I am praying that this study will grow
your faith, trust, and relationship with the Savior as you realize you were made for MORE.
